As a trusted public service broadcaster with an extensive reach via 350 member stations, PBS is seen as America’s “largest classroom”. But as the US media landscape rapidly evolves, how does PBS adapt and continue to produce relevant and educational programming?
In a recent interview during a visit to PBS affiliate Think TV, CEO Paula Kerger explained how the broadcaster maintains its high level of public trust and support whilst keeping pace with the ever-changing media landscape.
A new study has placed PBS and its member stations as #1 in public trust among nationally known institutions and an “excellent” use of tax dollars for the 13th year in a row.
