“Celebrating the Pacific Spirit”

A warm welcome to the Pacific Media Network as it becomes the latest member of the Public Media Alliance.

The Pacific Media Network is a public multimedia organisation based in New Zealand.

Currently owned and operated by the National Pacific Radio Trust and part funded by the New Zealand Government, the station first aired in 2002. It broadcasts in 11 Pacific languages and aims  to empower, encourage and nurture Pacific Cultural identity and economic prosperity in New Zealand.  The organisation celebrates the Pacific spirit in New Zealand by empowering Pacific peoples to achieve their full potential and by preserving Pacific Island culture and language.

We welcome the Pacific Media Network as PMA’s latest member and look forward to sharing more about their work and ethos in the months to come.
