Applications are open!
We are pleased to announce eight Global Grants of up to £1,500 for employees of PMA member organisations. Apply now using the link below!

The PMA Global Grant is provided for a media project that would benefit the applicant, their organisation, society and meet the objectives of the Public Media Alliance (PMA) and the grant funding organisation, The Grace Wyndham Goldie [BBC] Trust.

As part of the project the successful applicant will also be required to plan an exchange between their own PMA member organisation and that of the country they intend to visit. On completion of the project the successful applicant is required to submit a report, pictures and an account of their experiences.

In 2024, our Global Grants were awarded to PMA members from a wide range of backgrounds including producers, radio reporters, editors and managers from Montserrat, Sweden, Bangladesh, and Belize. The grantees worked on topics and ideas ranging from tackling social issues through drama, developing technical audio and video skills, understanding archiving and image rights and expanding cultural collaborations in the public media sector.
